Our Services: In-Office Liposuction and Smart Lipo - A Fully Awake Procedure

How does the Laser Liposuction procedure work?

After administering a local anesthetic, the doctor makes a small, discreet incision in the area to be treated. Using a narrow tube attached to a suction device, the doctor carefully breaks up and removes fat deposits. After the incision is closed, the liposuction procedure is complete. The patient sheds pounds of extra weight in a single surgical procedure.

Who is a good candidate for in-office Liposuction?

If you have areas of fat that will not respond to diet and exercise, then you’re a candidate for Laser lipolysis. Ideal candidates are in good health, of normal body weight and have realistic expectations for the results. Also patients who are not satisfied with their previous results from traditional liposuction will benefit from laser lipolysis, to adjust their irregularities.

What body regions can be treated with in-office Liposuction procedure?

You can treat the chin/neck area, arms, stomach and thighs.

What is the recovery after the procedure?

This is a minimally invasive procedure where the patient can go out that day if they like. Full recovery from liposuction usually takes no more than a few weeks during which the patient will wear a compression garment. Patients are frequently able to return to work in 72 hours. There will be some swelling and tenderness after the procedure, but it should subside quickly as the patient recovers. Within a few weeks, patients will be able to show off an exciting new body contour.

 Does this provide lasting results?

Yes! Adults do not create new fat cells. The procedure permanently removes the fat cells. Should you gain weight, most fat will be deposited in areas where the procedure was not performed.
